World Painter Brushes

I have had a variety of world painter brushes that I have created for personal use and have kept to myself until now.  I have only ever released my river and road brushes to the public. I hope others find these brushes as useful as I have over the years. I have used them in the past to create server spawns and even used one map creation for a live stream series.

A demo world is now available to download.  Shadowland Isles is a world I created some time ago using these brushes.  The download also includes the world painter file as well as the Minecraft world for you to explore.  Download the Demo here.

Puzzel Brushes: I deigned the Biome Puzzel brushes to interlock together. The idea was taken directly from how Minecraft interlocks biome features together. They are specifically designed after the old Mega Tiaga Biome, but work great for any biome you create. I have used them for underwater seascapes as well as custom biome landscapes.

Biome Vegetation Brushes: I love to use these for clusters of flowers or trees over a landscape. They work great on top of the puzzle brushes

Boulder Accents: Are just what it sounds like... use with a light touch for small boulders or create a landscape full of interesting hills.

There are many different kinds of lakes that can be found in the world.  I have chosen three types that I tried to imitate with these brushes....

Anthropogenic Lakes: Man made lakes. I chose some whimsical fun Minecraft themed lake impressions for these brushes.  Nothing like wandering in the wilderness and then coming across a lake that reminds you of Minecraft!

-Crater Lakes:  lakes formed by volcanoes or asteroid collisions.

-Fluvial Lakes: Lakes created by running water such as rivers. These brushes are great use on the end of or in the middle of a river.

17 different river brushes including 4 free hand brushes. Be sure to take a look at the ReadMe file for tips on how to use these brushes.

18 road brushes inspired by the game Carcassonne.  Great for painting roads and paths along plains and hilly or mountainous landscapes.

The x300 greyscale set has 2 versions of each brush. One with a hard edge and one with a soft edge. Use whichever set gives you the desired look you are going for.

Great for painting roads and paths along plains, hilly or mountainous landscapes. Additionally the soft edge brushes make good but simple river brushes.
